Elle is a French-born American lawyer and writer of novels and short stories—some of which were featured in anthologies and at literary workshops at the National Children’s Museum, Kids Euro Festival, and local schools. She holds Juris Doctorates from Université Côte d’Azur Law School (France) and the George Washington University Law School (USA) where she was inducted in Phi Delta Phi, the International Legal Honor Society. Her diverse work experience (lifeguard, teacher, translator, medical writer, and criminal attorney for the California Attorney General's office) has influenced her writing. She chaired the Pediatric Literacy Program at the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center (the U.S. Presidents’ hospital) and believes "literacy is a fundamental human right and the foundation for lifelong learning" (UNESCO). In her spare time, she enjoys Lego building and hands-on crafts, works out in the Metaverse,  and volunteers in her community. She is an active member of the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators (SCBWI) and Mystery Writers of America (MWA) member and lives in California with her family.
